Garmin Street Pilot & Nuvi Best Prices

So far Garmin’s Nuvi 660 has been great to me. The Bluetooth hands-free capability has proven to be much more useful than I expected. I couldn’t imagine driving without it any more. Only problem is reception could be better at some times but I don’t know if it’s the FM transmitter, the Bluetooth, or just my phone being crappy. I’ve had 2 GPS navigators stolen in the past 2 years so I like that I can lock the Nuvi so others can’t use it without my code. I also like its size.

I had used other garmin products before buying the garmin nuvi 250 and really loved the simple yet very functional and reliable aspect of them, and as such I had really high hopes that I wasnt sure if the cheap garmin nuvi 250 gps system could fulfill when I finally placed my order.

I had used more expensive nuvi systems in rental cars during business trips across the country and globe, and I really had a hard time after an extended trop getting used to driving without again and decided after reading many garmin nuvi 250 reviews and feedback online that I would purchase this to see if it was appropriate for driving at home in an area that I am already super familiar with and wouldn’t need all the fancy and expensive extras.

Yet again another great and satisfying purchase I have made from garmin, the nuvi 270 is the third unit I have bought from them and the first from the Nuvi ‘pocket-sized’ versions. The market it as a simple entry level model, but if you are a first time buyer or a veteran alike, you know that any gps system from this company is anything but value orientated and you always get more then yours money worth in the long run, which I guess is a major reason for the explosion and popularity of the Nuvi gps systems in vehicles these days compared to just 1 year ago.

Things to be aware of before buying the garmin nuvi 270 gps over others is a) there is no included documents or manual in the box, you can download and online version – however most people wont even need a manual to get started and using their garmin 270 if you have any sort of electronic comprehension. Other things like an apparent lack of ability to disable rerouting when you miss turns, and lesser quality voice prompts then on my other gps systems are things to be aware of.

I love the Nuvi 670. The unit is very accurate and gives very specific directions on very detailed maps. I used to get lost all the time, and I mean all the time, but now with this easy to use device I can go to Italy and pretend like I know what I’m doing and where I’m going. My only complaint is that the windshield mounting piece falls off if I leave the Garmin Nuvi 670 in there and it’s very hot out. If you take it out the suction mount can stay on though and it’s usually a good idea to do so so that people don’t see it and try to steal it. I would recommend this to anybody, it makes a great gift for somebody who is constantly lost!

When I moved from a small city in California to Chicago I bought the Nuvi 650 and it has been nothing but good to me. It has helped me a great deal and saved me what would have probably added up to days of frustration now. It is truly a wonderful product. The screen is very bright and clear. It is easy to read at night in night mode or even when the sun is on it. The interface was extremely easy to figure out and use on garmin nuvi 650 gps. The satellite locks on within seconds of turning the machine on, it rarely takes more than 10 seconds. The only slightly negative thing is that the voice can be difficult to understand sometimes but the directions are written on the screen so you just have to glance at it.

My wife’s last two Mercedes-Benz SL500s both had in-car GPS units and I always considered them the standard for in-car navigation but the Nuvi 670 is clearly better-quality than what is provided by Mercedes.
